Terms of service
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your purchase of products from Rajasthan Jeweller, as well as your use of our website (www.rajasthanjeweller.com) (the “Site”). By placing an order or otherwise using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these Terms in full.
1. Definitions
In these Terms:
“We, us, our” means Rajasthan Jeweller, a sole/proprietorship or company registered at 12 Ground Floor, Rajratan Complex, Railway Station Road, Maninagar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
“You, your, customer” means the user or purchaser of products via the Site who is competent to contract under Indian law.
“Product(s)” means the jewellery or other goods listed for sale on the Site.
“Order” means your request to buy a Product from us, accepted by us in accordance with Section 4 below.
“Change of mind” means the customer’s desire to cancel or return/exchange a Product for reasons other than our error, defect, or non-conformity.
2. Eligibility
2.1 You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into binding contracts under Indian law.
2.2 You further represent and warrant that the Products are being purchased for non-commercial, personal use (unless otherwise agreed).
2.3 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an Order in our sole discretion, for any reason (including suspecting fraud, non-payment, or pricing error).
3. Order Acceptance & Pricing
3.1 All Orders placed by you are subject to acceptance by us. You will receive an Order confirmation email, but an Order is only accepted when we dispatch the Product to you (or confirm acceptance in writing).
3.2 We endeavour to display accurate pricing, but errors may occur. If we discover a pricing error we may cancel your Order and refund any amount paid.
3.3 The price of the Product is as listed on the Site at the time of Order, exclusive of applicable taxes and shipping costs, unless otherwise stated.
4. Payment & Invoice
4.1 Payment must be made via one of the methods provided on the Site (credit/debit card, net banking, UPI/other).
4.2 Upon dispatch of your Product, you will receive an invoice which serves as proof of purchase and may be required for any return/exchange claim.
5. Shipping & Delivery
5.1 Delivery times provided on the Site (such as “Ahmedabad 2-5 hr delivery”) are estimates only and not guarantees. We are not liable for delay caused by courier services, weather, or other factors beyond our control.
5.2 Risk of loss or damage to Products passes to you upon delivery by the courier to the address you provided.
5.3 You must inspect the Product immediately at delivery. Any damage, defect or non-conformity must be reported in accordance with Section 7 below.
6. Title & Authenticity
6.1 We warrant that Products comply with our description and any claim of authenticity (for example “100% certified 925 sterling silver”) only if explicitly specified.
6.2 If you require hallmark or certificate of authenticity (where applicable), you should verify the same prior to purchasing.
6.3 You acknowledge that images of Products on the Site are for illustration only; actual colour/finish may vary slightly due to screen settings.
7. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
General Policy
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind by the customer.
Returns or exchanges will only be processed if the mistake is from our end (wrong item, defective product) and you provide the required proof (see 7.1 & 7.2).
Orders once placed cannot be cancelled by you under any circumstance.
7.1 Defective or Wrong Products
If the delivered Product is defective, damaged, or wrong (i.e., does not match description), we will accept a claim provided you submit a full un-edited video of the unboxing — from sealed outer packaging until the Product is removed — showing the name/address sheet + bill/invoice.
The video must contain no cuts, filters or editing, and must be sent by email to us within 24 hours of delivery. If you fail to send within 24 hours, we will not accept a claim.
If valid, you will be eligible for either (at our option) a) replacement of the Product; or b) refund of the product cost (excluding shipping charges).
Shipping cost is non-refundable in all cases.
7.2 Size Issues
For exchanges due to size issues only (i.e., you ordered the wrong size), we will consider exchange (not refund) subject to availability of the correct size. You must pay the shipping cost for the exchange.
If the size you want is unavailable, you may either wait until stock arrives or request a refund of the product cost only (shipping cost non-refundable).
7.3 Additional Conditions
Sale or discounted items: Items marked as discounted, clearance, or part of a sale are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange or refund.
No refund or exchange will be permitted if:
* The Product has been used, worn, altered or resized by you.
* The package was lost/misplaced due to incorrect or incomplete address provided by you.
* You rejected a prepaid order at delivery for no fault of ours.
* The order is still in transit or delay is due to courier service.
If we bear shipping cost due to our error, the cost shall not exceed ₹ 80.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 All content on the Site (text, images, logos, designs) is our property or licensed to us. You shall not reproduce, distribute, transmit, modify or create derivative works without our prior written permission.
8.2 Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your purchase or use of the Product shall be limited to the product cost.
9.2 We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses (including loss of profit, business, goodwill) even if advised of such possibility.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
10.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
10.2 Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
11. Amendments
11.1 We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. The revised Terms will be effective from the “Last updated” date shown above. Your continued use of the Site or placing of an Order constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
